Fashion Armor

When my mom and I were both in the kitchen making dinner last night, both busily chopping and cooking away, my arm ended up in her way and I would have gotten poked/lightly stabbed by a knife if it wasn't for my cuff protecting my arm. Now my mom instantly said, "Thank goodness you were wearing that cuff!" but I just thought, "Oh no! Not my new cuff!"... Typical fashionista.
