downtown

Gold Hawk sequin tunic, Deepa Gurnani headband, bracelets and earrings from Jigsaw, Dollhouse denim jacket.

These are the last bit of photos from my shoot with Randy Angle.

I think they epitomize my lively, downtown lifestyle!

You can't see, but I was wearing a re-vamped cowgirl boot with this outfit... And yes, cowgirl boots totally work with sequins!!!

a little cheeky

You might remember that fabulous teal dress I wore converted into a halter in September shown here.
Well, it became very cheeky when I wore it with my mustard heels, lacy vintage gloves and a feathered fascinator for these photos.
The coral velvet chair gave the photos even more pop against the brick alley way!

in the mix

In my eyes the mixing of colors, textures and prints is what a fabulous outfit is all about!
This outfit was the perfect blend of each of those, which was ideal for a night out.

Spent the evening at Saranac Public House where I absolutely couldn't resist a photo opp in front of these funky walls. I highly recommend their delicious soft pretzels dipped in mac-n-cheese sauce... Ah-mazing!!!

Our Lady of Fashion

ANM cardi, ADA belt, bracelets and rings all from Jigsaw, Free People shorts, Rue 21spiked necklace worn as hair piece.

I have been living in this long cardi lately. It's that perfect, easy piece to throw over anything!

I'm always a fan of wearing a button-front tunic/dress/cardi unbuttoned on the bottom half with a funky hot pant or skirt underneath. That way, when you walk you get a shot of leg without revealing too much skin!

fab 5

Here's the list... The 5 fabest/inspiring/happy things of my week!

One of my favorite pieces of art I saw at Terrain. This sculpture was made of hangers and adorned with newspaper bows, soooo creative!

Such an inexpensive and charming Fall decoration I made with my friend the other night. All it required was paper leaves I found at Rite Aid for under $2, thread and a needle!

Mizuna's Bloody Mary, absolutely worth trying! I'd totally treat this as an appetizer because you get so many tasty extras with it :)

I'm obsessed with this seasons Lanvin ads.
Alber Elbaz chose to cast real people, ages ranging from 18-80!
My fave: the one with the uber sophisticated older woman wearing the forest green peplum dress. Lovely!

A little research for my Halloween costume...

Have a Fab weekend! Thanks for stopping by. xoxo

CAUTION: Fashion Revisions Ahead

(Nicole Miller dress, Charlene K ring, ADA wrap bracelet from Jigsaw. old leggings and shooties)

It's amazing the things you can do with a couple of safety pins...

 Just pinch...

and pin!

I chose to "revise" this dress for the night by safety pinning the sleeves to give the neckline a retro 40's feel...

CAUTION: Be extra careful not to poke yourself :)
